Casadesus, Jean-Claude (1935– )

French conductor. He studied with Boulez and Pierre Dervaux and was conductor at the Paris Opéra 1969–71 and at the Lille National Orchestra from 1976 (leading the Revolution Revisited series at the South Bank, London, in 1989). He conducted the Philharmonia in the World Piano Competition, in London, in 1994.
