    0.04 sec.

Castaignede, Thomas (1975- )

French rugby union player. A prodigious talent at fullback, he made his international debut in October 1995. In 1996 he was a member of the Toulouse side that won the inaugural European Cup, but it was in the Five Nations that year that he emerged as one of the brightest new stars of the game. Renowned for his attacking flair, he helped France to win successive Five Nations Grand Slams in 1997 and 1998. In May 2000 he joined the English team Saracens.

He was a member of the French squad that reached the final of the 1999 World Cup. However, he was injured in the first group game and played no further part in the tournament.
