Castle Drogo

20th-century granite castle near Drewsteignton, Devon, England. Built by Edwin Lutyens between 1910 and 1930 on a 274 m/899 ft rocky outcrop above the River Teign. The castle was given to the National Trust in 1974, together with 247 ha/610 acres of farm and woodland, and the Elizabethan Whiddon Deer Park.
