Cedar Lake

Town in Lake County, extreme northwestern Indiana, USA, 32 km/20 mi south-southwest of Gary, near the Illinois state line; population (1990) 8,900. The lake that gives the town its name was a noted 19th- and early-20th-century resort. The area is increasingly suburban.

Cedar Lake

Lake in west-central Manitoba, Canada, north of Lake Winnipegosis; area 1,350 sq km/520 sq mi. The Saskatchewan River flows into it from the northwest, and drains east into Lake Winnipeg via Grand Rapids, where dams and dikes (built 1961–64) have raised the lake level, creating a reservoir for hydroelectric power.

is a lake in Minneapolis, Minnesota connected to Cedar Lake and Lake Calhoun.
The study was originally supposed to be finished in 2007, but it was taking longer because the Corps is waiting for information from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the town of Cedar Lake, which surrounds the lake about 15 miles south of Gary.
At Cedar Lake we use the Internet to seek information on available grant opportunities.
