Cedar Springs

City in Kent County, western Michigan, USA, on Cedar Creek, 26 km/16 mi north-northeast of Grand Rapids; population (1990) 2,600. Founded in 1859, it is situated in a resort and agricultural area. It has produced flannel and manufactured clothing since 1939.

Cedar Springs celebrates Red Flannel Day annually. It is the seat of Jordan College (1967).
