Cendrillon

Opera by Nicolò Isouard (libretto by C G Etienne, after Charles Perrault), first produced at the Opéra-Comique, Paris, on 22 February 1810.

The opera of the same title by Jules Massenet (libretto by H Cain, after Perrault) was first produced at the Opéra-Comique in Paris on 24 May 1899. In this version prominence is given to Cinderella's father, the hen-pecked Pandolphe.
