Cerritos

City in Los Angeles County, southwestern California, USA, on the Coyote Creek, 29 km/18 mi southeast of downtown Los Angeles; population (1990) 53,200. Just northwest of Buena Park, it is a largely residential suburb that tripled in population, to its present size, in the 1970s.
