Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory

Observatory on Cerro Tololo mountain in the Chilean Andes, operated by AURA (the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy). Its main instrument is a 4-m/158-in reflector, opened in 1974, a twin of that at Kitt Peak, Arizona, USA.
