Painting by the Flemish artist Peter Paul Rubens 1636 (National Gallery, London). It shows his country house near Malines and the surrounding landscape in autumn, a companion picture to his Rainbow Landscape (Wallace Collection, London). The picture marked an important step in the development of Western landscape painting.
