Changbai Mountains

Mountain range in Jilin province, northeast China. It stretches in a northeasterly direction between Jilin and North Korea, the highest point being 2,745 m/9,000 ft. Two rivers have their source in these mountains, the Songhua on the northern side and the Yalu on the south.
