Chagga

Bantu-speaking tribe living on the southern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Traditionally they were divided into autonomous chiefdoms. After World War I they took over many of the former German coffee farms and founded their own coffee cooperative, which is still flourishing.
