Chamblee

City in De Kalb County, northwestern Georgia, USA, 16 km/10 mi north-northeast of Atlanta; population (1990) 7,700. It is an industrial, warehousing, and shipping centre just inside Atlanta's beltway (Route 285). Industries here include the manufacture of farm machinery, electrical equipment, lumber, abrasives, and medical supplies.
