Chaney, Lon, Jr (Creighton) (1907–1973)

US actor. After an acclaimed performance as Lennie in Of Mice and Men (1940), he went on to star in many 1940s horror films, including the title role in The Wolf Man (1941). His other work includes My Favorite Brunette (1947) and The Haunted Palace (1963). He was the son of the actor Lon Chaney.
