Channelview

City in Harris County, southeastern Texas, USA, 19 km/12 mi east of Houston; population (1990) 25,600. Plastics and petrochemicals are manufactured in this suburb of Houston (on Interstate 10) and the northern side of the Buffalo Bayou (the Houston Ship Channel).
