Chaska

City in southeastern Minnesota, USA, on the Minnesota River, 32 km/20 mi southwest of Minneapolis; seat of Carver County; population (1990) 11,300. It has only recently become an outer suburb of the Twin Cities. Dairy farms are giving way to residential developments, particularly in the northern part of the city.
