Ballet by Arthur Bliss (choreographed by Ninette de Valois), first produced by the Sadler's Wells Ballet at the Théâtre des Champs- Élysées, Paris, France, on 15 June 1937; the first London performance was at Sadler's Wells on 5 October 1937.
