Chelmsford, Frederic Augustus Thesiger, 2nd Baron (1827–1905)| English general. After serving in the Indian Mutiny and taking part in the capture of Magdala, he was made an aide-de-camp to Queen Victoria. He routed the Zulus under their king, Cetewayo, at Ulundi, South Africa, in 1879, and was lieutenant of the Tower of London 1884–89. |
