Cherhill

Village in Wiltshire, England, 16 km/10 mi west of Marlborough; population (2001) 720. Carved into the Marlborough Downs nearby is the Cherhill White Horse. There is a commemorative column here built in the 19th century by the 3rd Marquis of Lansdowne.

Production in the second quarter averaged 706 Boepd, down from the 821 Boepd in the first quarter due to natural declines and gas plant turnarounds (annual maintenance taking typically two weeks) at Nevis, Twining, Camao and Cherhill.

Most notably, Petrofund as operator drilled a 90% working interest horizontal Banff oil well at Cherhill that is now producing 200 boe/d net.
