Chesham

Market town in Buckinghamshire, England, 42 km/26 mi northwest of London; population (2001) 20,400. It lies on a spur of the Chiltern Hills in the valley of the River Chess, a river noted for its trout fishing and watercress. Industries include chemicals and engineering.
