Cheviot

Breed of hardy, medium-wool, white-faced, hornless sheep developed in the Cheviot Hills in the border region of Scotland and England. The wool of their fleece is straight, moderately long, close set, and free of black fibre. The breed is frequently used in crossbreeding.
