Chianti

Range of hills forming part of the Apennine chain in Tuscany region, northwest of Siena, north-central Italy. Its slopes are covered with vineyards and olive plantations. Chianti, a dry red wine, is produced here. Chief towns are Gaiole, Radda, and Castellina.

We improved our Chiantis and our Grigios because Argentines have a strong Italian palate and a strong Italian wine preference.
Wine list: Minimal starting list with six pinot grigios, four chardonnays, a white zinfandel, four Chiantis, two cabernets and a couple of merlots.
Although most of the estate's Chiantis are aged in traditional oak cooperage, Arcaini has brought in over 600 small French oak barrels for "Super Tuscan wines" and Riserva Chianti.
