Chihara, Paul (1938– )| US composer. He studied with Nadi Boulanger in Paris, France, and Ernst Pepping in Berlin, Germany. He taught at University of California, Los Angeles, 1966–74, and was composer-in-residence with the San Francisco Ballet from 1980. His music has employed serial and aleatory techniques. |
