Although the restaurant has been serving up gourmet chilis for more than a decade at its current location, the time was right to check it out. and Britain sell dried chilis and seeds, but the plants are fragile, susceptible to many pests and diseases, and difficult to grow. It was a traditional meal from Nagaland, the northeastern state along the Myanmar border where my friend was born, and where super-hot chilis are a part of life. |
