Chinese pavilion
| Musical instrument shaped like a tree or pagoda and hung with brass plates and small bells, shaken to make a jingling noise and used in military bands, especially in the 18th century. It was popularly called ‘Jingling Johnny’ or ‘Turkish Crescent’. |
