Chivasso

Town in Piedmont region, northern Italy, on the River Po northeast of Turin; population (1991) 24,800. Industries include textiles and engineering, and there are sulphur springs nearby.

[14] During the period 1344 to 1357, at the University of Paris, Domenico da Chivasso moved toward treating perspective, hence optics, as a mathematical science, to be included with the original four of the quadrivium, which now in its expanded form comprised arithmetic, geometry, music, astrology, and perspectiva.
The Honeywell pipeline automation project affects the Quiliano crude oil pipeline; the Arluno, Chivasso, Malpensa Airport, Vado Ligure and Turbigo finished-product pipelines; among other smaller pipelines.
