Chlubna, Osvald (1893–1971)

Czech composer. He was a pupil of Leoš Janáček and later professor at the Brno Conservatory. He scored the last act of Janáček's Sarka (staged 1925) and gave an upbeat ending to From the House of the Dead (1930).
