CinePak

In computing, software method of compressing and decompressing QuickTime ‘movies’, also called a software codec. CinePak takes a recorded QuickTime file and reduces it in size, frame by frame. This is a slow process, but the result is a file that can be played back efficiently by computers with QuickTime installed.
