Claridge's Hotel

Hotel in Brook Street, London, opened in 1855 by William Claridge, a butler from a noble household. It was bought by the Savoy Company in 1895 and rebuilt. With 203 bedrooms (including 67 suites), it is considered the best-equipped hotel in London to accommodate royalty and the rich. Since 2005 it has been owned and managed by the Maybourne Hotel Group. The restaurant Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's opened in 2001
