Clark, Francis Edward (1851–1927)

Canadian-born US minister. He became pastor of a Congregational church in Portland, Maine, in 1876 and founded the Young People's Society of Christian Endeavour in 1881. He was editor or honorary editor of the Christian Endeavour World from 1886 until his death, and president of the United Society 1887–1925.
