Clarkson, Jeremy (1960– )

English motoring journalist and television personality, best known for presenting the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) car programme Top Gear (1991–99). He also presented his own chat show for BBC 2 in 1998. He is known for his outspoken manner and ‘new lad’ image.

Clarkson started his career as a newspaper reporter, then worked on car magazines before presenting Top Gear. He lives in Fulham, London.
