Clee Hills

Range of hills in southern Shropshire, England. The principal summits are Brown Clee Hill (546 m/1791 ft) and Titterstone Clee Hill (533 m/1749 ft). Some coal reserves remain here, although they are no longer mined. A noted hard rock called Dhu stone, which is used mainly for road metal, is quarried here.
