Clementi, Aldo (1925– )

Italian composer. He studied with Goffredo Petrassi and Bruno Maderna, who influenced him towards 12-note serialism. His works are densely structured and include Informels (1961–63); concerto for wind orchestra and two pianos (1967); stage series Blitz (1973); Collage 4 (1979) and Es (1981); concerto for piano and 11 instruments (1986).
