Cleombrotus I (lived 4th century BC)

King of Sparta 380-371 BC. He led the Spartans at the Battle of Leuctra 371 BC against the Thebans under Epaminondas. The Spartans suffered a decisive defeat in the battle and Cleombrotus was fatally wounded.
