Cleveland, Frances (born Folsom) (1864–1947)

US first lady. One of the youngest first ladies, she married US president Grover Cleveland in 1886, when she was 21 and he was 49. She married again after Cleveland's death and was active in poor relief during the 1930s Depression.

She was born in Buffalo, New York. As first lady she held numerous public receptions. She was widely admired; her hairstyle and clothing were imitated.
