Clio

In Greek mythology, the Muse of history. Her symbol was a chest of scrolls or open scroll.

Clio

Genus of naked, marine molluscs. They are called pteropods (wing-footed) because they are constructed for moving through water by means of finlike membranes that expand sideways from the foot.

C. borealis is a species which abounds in northern seas.

Clio is in class Gastropoda of phylum Mollusca.

Clio

Agricultural town in Barbour County, southeastern Alabama, USA, 58 km/36 mi north-northwest of Dothan; population (1990) 1,400.

It is the birthplace (1919) of politician George C Wallace.
