Clumber spaniel

Breed of medium-sized gundog (a dog trained to aid in hunting) that takes its name from Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire, the estate of the dukes of Newcastle who imported the dogs into England from France probably in the late 18th century. Its thick, soft coat is white with lemon-coloured flecks. One of the largest spaniels, it weighs up to 36 kg/80 lb.
