Colourpoint Longhair

Breed of domestic longhaired cat originally developed in the 1920s in America and Sweden from a cross between Persian and Siamese cats. The Sealpoint was one of the first varieties to be developed and has a warm cream coat with contrasting deep brown markings on the face, ears, feet, paws, and tail. It has small ears, blue eyes, and short legs.

The breed was recognized in 1955 in Europe and in the USA in 1957 where it is most widely bred. It has many varieties.
