Colts Neck

Township in Monmouth County, east-central New Jersey, USA, 16 km/10 mi west-southwest of Long Branch; population (1990) 8,600. It is the site of the Earle Ammunition Depot, an important naval facility, which straddles the borders with Howell township (to the south) and Tinton Falls (to the southeast).

Phalanx, a utopian communal organization based on the principles of the French philosopher Fourier, flourished in the east of the township in 1843–54.

The new PNC look will soon be unveiled at branch locations in Brick Township, Colts Neck, Cranbury, Dayton, Eatontown, Fairhaven, Forsgate, Holmdel, Howell, Jamesburg, Lincroft, Manasquan, Manchester, North Asbury Park, Red Bank, Rossmoor, Somerset, South River, Spotswood, Twin Rivers and Wall Township.
And there was one other huge incentive: The 3,200-square-foot Center Hall Colonial-style house in Colts Neck, New Jersey, was a 60-minute train ride from New York City and Atlantic City and 35 minutes from Newark International Airport.
In January of 1981, First Lieutenant Lefebvre was transferred to Marine Barracks Earle, Colts Neck, New Jersey and served as the Guard Company Commander and Logistics Officer.
