Comes, Juan Bautista (c. 1582–1643)

Spanish composer. He was maestro de capilla at Lleida at first, and later musical director at Valencia Cathedral from 1613 and again from 1632, with an appointment at the royal chapel in Madrid and another at the Colegio del Patriarca at Valencia in between.
