Well, no, actually: In the beginning of the common era, there was not even one Christianity but only Greco-Roman Jewry, whose monotheism, even in its proto-Christian guise, the polytheistic majority rightly regarded as atheism vis-a-vis all gods but one.
As with so many Jewish holidays and holy days, Passover is centered in the home largely because the temple was physically destroyed in the year 70 of the Common Era.
So I wrote by email to the pastor of the church in that town, and she handed my name to a local retiree, who sent me seven additional generations of my genealogy, going back to Peter Klein, born about 1600 of the Common Era.
