Concertstück

In music, title sometimes given to works of the concerto type for solo instrument and orchestra which are not fully developed concertos. Concertstücke are often in one movement or in several connected sections. Although German, the title has been used by composers in other countries, for example Cécile Chaminade and Gabriel Pierné in France, and Frederic Cowen in England.
