Condé, Henri II de Bourbon, 3rd Prince of Condé (1588-1646)

Son of Henri I de Bourbon, Prince of Condé, and father of Louis II de Bourbon, the Great Condé. He was a Catholic and fought zealously against the Protestants, becoming one of Cardinal Richelieu's most faithful supporters. He was made president of the Council of Regency when Louis XIII died in 1643.

His second son, Armand, was the founder of the house of Conti.
