Condit, Carl W(ilbur) (1914-1997)

US architectural historian. He published important studies of 19th- and 20th-century American buildings and of the Chicago School of architecture (1964), and technological histories of Chicago, Cincinnati, and the Port of New York.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was professor at Northwestern University 1945-82.
