com, an e-sales portal of Invensys Process Systems, now uses two configurators that will reportedly simplify accurate selection and purchase of complex industrial automation equipment.
In a February, 2007 report entitled "Product Configurators Set Foundation for PLM in Insurance", author Kimberley Harris-Ferrante, Research Vice President, Gartner, recommends that insurers, "Continue to buy product configurators as the foundation for PLM, and select vendors that are investing in next-generation product development requirements.
Product personalization is driving great interest in interactive configurators across many industries, including jewelry, handbags, clothing and gifts.
