Conisbrough

Town in South Yorkshire, England, 8 km/5 mi southwest of Doncaster; population (2001) 15,400. Conisbrough Castle, with a fine circular keep, is a Norman castle built by Hamelin, a half-brother of Henry II, in around 1180.
