Connersville

City in eastern Indiana, USA, on the West Fork of the Whitewater River, 27 km/17 mi southwest of Richmond; seat of Fayette County; population (1990) 15,550. Founded in 1813, it is now a rail and manufacturing centre, with factories producing furniture, refrigerators, dishwashers, air conditioners, machine tools, car parts, and other goods.
