Conrad II (c. 990–1039)

King of the Germans from 1024, Holy Roman Emperor from 1027. He ceded the Sleswick (Schleswig) borderland, south of the Jutland peninsula, to King Canute, but extended his rule into Lombardy and Burgundy.
