Conshohocken

Borough in Montgomery County, southeastern Pennsylvania, USA, on the eastern bank of the Schuylkill River, 22 km/14 mi northwest of Philadelphia; population (1990) 8,100. Founded after the building of the Schuylkill Canal in 1826, this industrial suburb produces steel, automobile and iron products, and tyres.
