    0.01 sec.

Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) Treaty

Treaty signed by NATO and Warsaw Pact representatives in November 1990, reducing the number of tanks, missiles, aircraft, and other forms of non-nuclear military hardware held by signatory states. It was revised at a summit of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in November 1999. The treaty is widely regarded as the linchpin of European security. In 2007 Russia suspended its adherence to the treaty.
