Coop Himmelbau

Viennese-based architectural practice, founded 1968 by Wolf Prix (1942– ) and Helmut Swiczonsky (1944– ), that promotes a radical skeletal architecture, essentially constructivist in character. Projects to date include Red Angel Bar, 1980–81, and Atelier Baumann, 1984–85 (both in Vienna).
